Plaka is the oldest neighborhood in Athens and one of the nicest. Although it used to be a hot spot full of night clubs in the past, the government banned the loud music and the neighborhood became much more pretty and traditional, ideal for walks.

Athens Suburban Railway
The Athens Suburban Railway, also called "Proastiakos" is a good choice for reaching the nearby eastern suburbs of the city and the Athens International Airport. In fact, it connects Piraeus and the Athens Central Railway Station with the airport in Spata, while also providing regional rail links to Kiato, via Korinth.
