Did you know that Greece has ski resorts that remind of other european ones in Austria or France? There are many winter destinations is Macedonia, Epirus, Peloponnese, Central Greece that have well organized ski centers, with remarkable infrastructure, ideal for those who love winter sports such as skiing and snowboard. Despite the fact that Greece enjoys a great fame as a summer destination, due to its numerous islands, the truth is that it's a mountainous country. The ski centers of the country begin to operate from November (when the first snow begins to fall) and close in spring, thus meaning that tourists have months of fun and activities at the snow.
