Platys Yialos is a well-known beach in Mykonos, located about 4 km far from the town. It has many types of lodgings varying from apartments to luxury hotels, restaurants, shops and a beautiful beach with water sport activities. Platis Gialos is the caïque jumping-off point for beaches to the east, such as Paradise and Super Paradise.

Approximately 1km south of Platys Gialos you’ll find the pleasant Paraga Beach, with many restaurants with tasty Greek food and the famous Kalua beach bar, where wild parties with dancing and summer cocktails are on the menu every day starting early in the afternoon.
