Dionisiou Areopagitou - Acropolis
A unique outdoor museum will show you the greatness of ancient Athens. Walking on Dionysius Areopagite you can admire the most important historical sites in the capital, such as the Temple of Olympian Zeus, the Acropolis, the hill Filopappos, Ancient Agora and the Kerameikos Cemetery. A very popular pedestrian for residents and tourists, especially romantic during the night hours and ideal for families as you can let your children wandering around without fear of traffic.
Apostolou Pavlou – Thissio
There are many reasons to walk this pedestrian, if you want to enjoy a coffee in one of the many out doors café in Thissio, or if you want to visit Acropolis Museum this is the best way to go.

Ermou Street
It was pedestrianized in the 1990s to the protest of some misguided shopkeepers who thought they would have a problem with the buyers, a very busy commercial place. You can find many stores there including mainly clothes and shoe stores. There are also many out doors coffee shops where you can enjoy a time break.
Andrianou - Plaka
Wandering the historic center is inconceivable without a walk in Plaka. Whether from Monastiraki square or from Thissio, all walkways lead to that of Hadrian (Andrianou). Stylish cafes and restaurants along with the historical relics of Ancient Agora, Hadrian ride reminds of postcards where the old is combined with the new. This is the true nature of Athens, history and modern all together.
Nea Smyrni Square
A traditional place and perhaps the most famous square in the southern suburbs. The last years it has been surrounded by footpaths, making the walk around the place simple fun. Shops mingle with trendy cafe and historic shops and you can spend your whole day there in total relaxation.
Esplanada Faliro
If you get tired of the city center you will find very refreshing a walk by the sea with the saltiness of the Saronic. The erstwhile Olympic zone west of the indoor tennis Tae Kwon Do, also known as Water Square, has developed into a seaside oasis ideal for walks with a backdrop of yachts.
