Description of Arna
Arna is a beautiful, green village in Laconia, built at an altitude of 750 m on the eastern slopes of Mount Taygetos. Arna is surrounded by trees, apple trees, chestnut trees, walnut trees and a variety of herbs along with a long aged plane tree that has been declared as a monument of nature. It offers good food in restaurants and taverns and accommodation in beautiful hotels and hostels.
