Description of Levidi

Levidi is a beautiful town, built on the outskirts of Mount Mainalo next to a pine forest at an altitude of 850 m.  Levidi has a rich history and folklore tradition and has also been participating in the national liberation struggle in 1821 and one of the first historic battles of the revolution, where the Greeks defeated the Turks took place in Levidi. Nowadays, Levidi is a famous weekend destination with restaurants and hotels for your accommodation and the ski center of Mainalo is just 12 km far.

 

How to get to Levidi

Take the Athens-Tripoli highway and after the tunnel of Artemisium before reaching Tripoli turn to Levidi.
