At the Akrotiri Seafood Obsession you may enjoy a culinary experience right close to the sea.
We are located at the picturesque port of Pollonia, one of the island s most touristic spots. We opened the restaurant for the first time in 2018. We created a cuisine based on pure ingredients, local products but also products which we cultivate on our own. Five years after our restaurant’s active function, the “Greek Taste Beyond Borders” Organization awarded us with the Gold Prize of Authentic Greek Taste and as such we are by now members of the World’s Gastronomy Ambassadors. Our success has not occurred by chance. We worked with passion so as to reach the point of being established as one of the best seafood restaurants in Milos island.
In order to ensure the availability of the best raw ingredients in our restaurant, we have created our own garden, which provides us all the fresh vegetables and aromatic herbs that we use in our recipes. Local fishermen are supplying us with fresh fishes daily. Our philosophy is to create dishes based on the Greek and Mediterranean cuisine and also to evolve them by our own unique way, offering them a touch of creative cuisine and also our Seafood Obsession character.
Award-winning chef Mr. Giannis Bratsolias is the Executive Private Chef of Akrotiri Seafood Obsession Restaurant. He has created a new menu, which is based on high quality ingredients, innovative flavors and explosive combinations.
As he states himself We cook in the healthiest way, showing respect to our ingredients. We afford the necessary time for the food to be properly and healthily cooked, while maintaining at the same time its nutritional values and its deep taste. Our goal is to offer to our visitors unforgettable delicious flavors and tastes which they may recall when the go back home
Giannis Bratsolias has been voted as the “Chef of the year 2021” by the Greek Taste Beyond Borders Organization. He has also been a member of the restaurant team of the Presidential Palace and of the Presidency of Democracy. He has offered his culinary skills creating official meals for very important persons, honorary guests and foreign countries governors.
At the moment he is a member of The Acropolis Chef Club and also a columnist for food industry magazines In 2021, he was in charge of the Four Seasons Hotel of Seychelles company’s private restaurant project. As such, he created menus based on the Mediterranean and Greek nutritional diet. He offered his services to celebrities and private villas owners, being the Executive Private Chef.
