When love for food turns into obsession...
Akrotiri Seafood Obsession was created in 2018 by Zacharias Batzakas, a 24-year-old man with love for quality food and Greek cuisine. Touristorama paid a visit at Akrotiri restaurant and met Zaharias, who told us about his work:
"Our philosophy is to offer exclusively fresh fish and seafood, in a perfect blend of traditional flavors and imaginative creations. We are located in Pollonia of Milos, right by the sea, on the picturesque little port of the village. We don't consider our store "one more" seafood restaurant, because we really have a point of view, a character, a specific concept. Our center is our customer, and we want him to enjoy the whole process of a seafood gastronomic experience."
The menu of Akrotiri Seafood Obsession has been composed by executive chef Nikos Anagnostou. Chef Anagnostou has over 10-years culinary experience in luxury hotels and restaurants around the world. Now, he brought his creative cooking skills to the Akrotiri Seafood Obsession restaurant!
Akrotiri gives an emphasis at the selection of the best materials, many of which come from the local production of Milos island. The fish and the lobsters are exclusively from the local fishing boats and you can see what's available every day in the open fridge of the restaurant.
In the cellar you will find varieties of wines from Greek vineyards, in selected labels, according to the dishes included in the menu... so as to join perfectly your meal!
