Petralona is one of the most beautiful neighborhoods of Athens, and other than its own strong elements, it’s also nice that it’s located next to other interesting places like Gazi, Thissio and Koukaki.
The district extends from Pireos street up to the hill of Philopappos and from the Chamosternas avenue up to the bridge of Pavlopoulos. It is divided into Upper and Lower, meaning Ano and Kato Petralona, and is served by means of transportation such as the Athens Pireaus Electric Railway (ISAP) and frequent bus itineraries (OASA).
Pletralona have recently become much more known because of the busy nightlife chances and the neighborhood is ideal for teens hangouts. There are many restaurants, cafes and bars in the region, most of which are located in the Troon (Trojans) street.
