Greek traditional products
Traditional products can be the ones to remind you of this amazing trip in Greece or even a gift for your beloved ones back home. Every little village or island in Greece produce something unique, something tastful, something you should buy. Local stores -depending on the region- offer for sale: souvenirs, art crafts, honey, cheese, wines or other drinks such as "tsipouro" and "ouzo", home made sweets, gold and silver jewellery, clothes, accessories, antiques etc.
There are also some PDO products (protected destination of origin), including 20 different kinds of cheese (yes, "feta" is one of them!), mastic (that healthy product from Chios island which is good for stomach ache and illnesses), liquers (Corfu is known for the "koum kouat"), olives (try the ones produced in Thassos island) and others. Ask the locals about their tradition and buy something unique, some typical Greek!
