Thousands of foreign students study Homer's Odyssey and Iliad and thousands visit the national museums to see how the ancient myths are embodied in Greek art.
Not to mention the Hollywood productions that have "borrowed" elements of Greek mythology. The heroes of Ancient Greece have inspired famous producers who made incredible movies based on their lives and adventures. The "Troy" for example or the "300" are listed among the greatest successes...

Titans in Greek mythology are the first descendants of Gaia (earth) and Ouranos (sky), the first group of children that Gaia bore before giving birth to Cyclops (one-eyed giants) and Hekatoncheires (hundred-armed giants).

Aktaion - Writing gastronomic history since 1922
Like a relay race of three generations; a journey with happy days, sad days, joys, sorrows, wars, Occupation, poverty, hunger, deaths, volcanic eruptions, catastrophic earthquakes, flee for a better life, return, better days, feasts, tourism explosion, financial crises and so on… Everything has been indelibly inscribed on the walls of this small building, Aktaion. I feel grateful that life has given me the opportunity to hold the reins of Aktaion all the way to its centennial.

Astakas restaurant and the Statue of Poseidon in Milos.
The statue of Poseidon, made of Parian marble, was found in 1877 on Milos island, along with a statue of his mate, Amphitrite. The larger than life-size statue depicts the god almost nude, wearing a himation covering the lower part of the body. In his raised right hand he will have held the trident. Next to his right leg is a support in the form of a dolphin. Today, the statue is exhibited at the National Archaeological Museum in Athens city.
