There is a lounge cafe bar on the island of Skyros that is sure to steal your heart! It is called Cavos and is set in Linaria, right above the port of the island, built on the cliff in a way that makes you think it is hung from the rocks.

Cavos is famous not only because of the delicacies served there, but also because of the way it welcomes the visitors of the island. When the ship enters the port, tourists can hear music and specifically Richard Strauss' "Zarathustra", playing loudly from Cavos' deck, while the habitues hold light sparklers, creating a unique atmosphere.
From early in the morning in Cavos you can enjoy breakfasts, coffees and candies (nut pie, chocolate souffle, waffles, traditional greek spoon sweets etc). The lounge cafe stays open all day long and till late at night, serving drinks, cocktails, toasts and delicious yoghurt. In case you want to swim under Cavos, keep in mind that you have to take anything needed with you, before stepping down the 33 stairs that lead to the sea.
