How to forget?
“Na me thimasai” restaurant is exactly what its name depicts, an excellent restaurant with unique flavors, hard to forget. Not only does someone gets impressed by the delicious dishes, but also by the special decoration which consists of unique art objects (paintings, sculpture, ceramics), all from the private collection of the writer Angelos Petroulakis’ family.
The cuisine is simply stunning, with chef Manolis Pantazis and his team offer a truly creative and original touch, combining Greek traditional recipes with international culinary habits, finally serving simple and gourmet dishes.
Special consideration may be given on fresh fish and seafood, with the famous fish soup, the grilled fish fillets and the steamy seafood be always on the menu. This however doesn’t exclude other delicacies from what one can taste in the “Na me thimasai” restaurant. Incredible appetizers, rich salads, pasta and many other main dishes are served as well.
We tasted and we highly recommend the potatoes “gratine” with sour cream, bacon, parmesan cheese and smoked paprika, the oyster mushrooms and saucage with orange from Koroni of Messinia, Peloponnese. As far as the salads are concerned, do not miss to try the “Na me thimasai” salad (with iceberg lettuce, grilled chicken breast, smoked bacon, corn pearls, grated parmesan, crouton herbs, marinated in mayonnaise dressing with soft mustard, mashed garlic, parsley and white wine vinegar). It’s worth eating risotto with chicken breast, roasted red pepper, fresh onion, smoked cheese of Metsovo, turmeric and cream cheese on pasta and stuffed burger with feta cheese and roasted Florina peppers, grilled vegetables and finally the fried potatoes.
The restaurant fulfills your pleasure with the appropriate wine list, which changes every year, so as to offer the visitors the opportunity to taste something different, something special and discover the representative wines from the wide range of Greek vineyard.
Christina Petroulaki Pantazi is the woman beside the amazing desserts of “Na me thimasai”. Choose between a Chios mastic shot, a Vinsanto wine from Santorini, a glass of Limoncello.. or taste a sweet warm tart, a piece of almond pie or the special “Na me thimasai” candy.
